Making efforts to produce maximum electricity through solar energy, the Haryana government has sought to set up 133 MW solar plants in the state. These solar power plants of 133 MW capacity will be installed by using ground and roof tops.
Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said that government is trying its best to generate maximum power through solar energy.
The state government is also planning to generate 4000 MW electricity through solar energy by the year 2022, CM Khattar said.
He, recently, inaugurated a 10 MW solar power plant set up by Haryana Power Generation Corporation Limited
Apart from these initiatives, Haryana government is making efforts to install solar energy-enabled equipments in government offices to promote greenery.
