Indian team ‘High Voltage’ from Gurugram has bagged a silver medal at the 13th World Robot Olympiad. Winning the
medal in the Regular Junior High category, over 450 team participated in the two-day international championship held at
India Expo Mart in Greater Noida.
Based on the theme of ‘Rap the Scrap’, the championship was jointly organised by the National Council of Science Museums,
an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Culture and India STEM Foundation. Over 2000 students from 51 countries are participated in this international championship in order to showcase their talent and robotic innovations.
The competition was held for students in the 9-25 years age group in Regular category (Elementary, Junior
High, Senior High), WRO Football, Open category and Advanced Robotics Challenge.
